The Tempe Center for the Arts

The Arizona Wind Symphony has a flare for a wide variety of musical performance from dance, singers, ensembles to concert repertoire.  The concerts are performed in the Tempe Center for the Arts Concert Hall.  The concert hall has a main level and two balconies.  Season ticket holders get a sizable discount.

Mr. William J. "Bill" Richardson is a dedicated music educator with over 45 years of conducting and teaching service in Arizona. Having won numerous prestigious state awards for his teaching, directing, and leadership, including AMEA Music Educator of the Year distinction, he is currently In-Service Conference Chairman for the AMEA. Educated at the University of Arizona with bachelor's and master's degrees in music education, Mr. Richardson is the founding director of the Tempe Youth Band and the Arizona Ambassadors of Music, an organization of statewide high school musicians which tours Europe every other year. He also plays trombone with the Tempe Symphony Orchestra.
